I am a writer and editor with more than 30 years experience. For the past decade or so I have been working as a coach, book doctor, ghostwriter and editor.

My published books include "Infusions of Healing" (Mexican-American Traditional Medicine, pub. Simon & Schuster) and my memoir, "Marked for Life" (pub. Crown). I edited two volumes of short memoir for Alfred A. Knopf ("Las Christmas," "Las Mamis")and I have also published a novel, "I Wouldn't Leave Rome to Go to Heaven," I work every day as a ghostwriter, book doctor and writing coach with authors of fiction and non-fiction, including true stories, memoir, and as a ghostwriter for a variety of books including fiction, memoir and coffee table books. I was the founder and editor-in-chief of two national magazines, L.A. Style and Si, and the co-founder and editor of a newspaper, the L.A. Weekly for which I oversaw the culture and entertainment coverage and wrote a weekly Style column.
