Nerd first, Journalist always.

As a Journalist of several West Virginia Newspapers, I see myself in the variety, the nitty-gritty of balancing subject matter or every kind. We are expected to know everything about writing in many styles, yes, but also be computer-literate. A little coding here, a dash of photography and digital editing here. Journalists can't be picky, or squeamish about the tasks they tackle. I hope to live up to the gold standard and leave my mark with words that transcend the ordinary.
