What is a profession called that combines such different aspects as creating, teaching, designing, writing, photographing? Not sure, but I wanted to do all of the above for a living, so that’s why I recently became a freelancer, to be able to carry out my many different skills and talents, and passions. As a native from Belgium who has lived in 4 different countries on 2 continents, grew up bilingual in German and French and become native-level fluent in English, I am familiar with different cultures and ways of living. I apply this as well as my experience gained during my corporate life to my work. Since I was a child I greatly enjoyed to be creative, and my vivid imagination led me to write stories and illustrate them. I love design, photography, digital art, reading and writing. During my professional career I translated a vast amount of documents and technical text, and I discovered that my writing style was very attractive to my clients. My emphasis is on ghost-writing and the translation of novels from English to German and vice versa, and providing the relevant artwork such as book cover design, formatting, illustrations and photography for these novels. I am also comfortable with technical text and non-fiction.
