Putting all that time spent daydreaming about food and travel to good use
I am a freelance writer and editor based in Brighton, UK. I write mainly about food culture, sustainability and travel, but my only real criterion for taking on an assignment is that it must be interesting. Some of the most interesting have included learning about sustainable agriculture in the Western Ghats, chatting with the 94-year-old proprietor of one of Mumbai’s legendary Parsi cafes, attending a cheese-tasting in a Cappadocian valley and reviewing the UK’s first zero-waste restaurant. (One of the least has involved writing about celebrity bingo players – hey, a girl's gotta eat.)
