You’ll usually find me hunched over my laptop in cafes, hammocks and hostel kitchens all over South America, Southeast Asia, Europe and beyond – typing furiously about travel destinations, food, activities and all of the awesome experiences this world has to offer. I have written content for tourism websites, holiday resorts, online travel guides, travel blogs, and more. In 2009 I went on a working holiday in New Zealand, without knowing that it would change my life. I thought I would just be travelling for six months, but five years later I am still on the road. While working as a tour guide at a creepy haunted prison by the sea in New Zealand I met a brilliant English guy called Lee and together we built Global-Goose.com, a website with travel guides, information and inspiration for others like us with an incurable case of wanderlust.
We sold all of our stuff, packed our bags and have been without a permanent address since May of 2011, travelling through more than 30 countries. We have swam with sea turtles in Sri Lanka, eaten Guinea pig in Peru, listened to jazz in the park in New Orleans, partied with German football fans in Munich, hung around with orang-utans in Borneo and so much more… and the journey is far from over.
