• Freelance Writing •

I love the great outdoors, and I'm a great writer. When I decided to put two of my favorite things together, I became a freelance writer with a focus on outdoor adventure, gear and technology.

Sharing stories about the trail less traveled, the interesting people I meet in the backcountry and those pushing the limits of what's perceived to be possible brings me so much joy.

In addition to sharing compelling stories, I enjoy copywriting and helping small-to-medium businesses find their voice and use written content to engage their customers. In the digital world we're living in, every company needs persuasive website copy, blogs and marketing materials that are filled with personality and produce results.

• Corporate Communications •

In my current role as a Communications Advisor, I produce a variety of internal, external and project communications on behalf of FedEx Logistics and its executives.

In addition to my passion for the written word, I enjoy counseling leadership (and anyone else who will listen) on best practices when it comes to communicating with team members and engaging external audiences.

• Digital Content Producing •

Prior to entering the world of corporate communications, I spent 16 years in the broadcast journalism industry, most recently as the Digital Content Director at the NBC affiliate in Memphis, TN. In that role, I oversaw WMC’s news website, social media channels and the content on its mobile news and weather apps.

• I'm a human, too! •

When I'm not writing and correcting others’ grammar, I'm usually traveling with my husband, Clark, riding my Peloton, doing yoga or watching an embarrassing amount of reality TV focused on wilderness survival. I won't do the hunting, but I can build us a badass shelter!
