Eric is a qualified chartered accountant and a member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
He has 25 years working experience in different finance-related jobs. In the year 2017, he set up his own business consultancy firm after accepting an MSS from his last employer. His main goal is to help and educate non-finance professionals to understand and solve their personal finances problems.
His biggest regret was ignoring personal finance management early in his career. He has no proper financial planning in place and no financial direction. As a result, he made many financial mistakes. There was a period he was in deep financial difficulties. That period, nearly every waking hours spent worrying about the next bills payment. Everything crumbles before him. It was a big and nasty wake-up call.
He believed everyone should be financially literate. Why? Because everything we do have money implications!
With the experience and a passion for writing, he is now embarking on a freelance career as a personal finance writer and advisor.
