Hi, I'm Kirsten: writer and comics editor for hire, dedicated to making sure no story goes untold.
Understanding the power of language, I offer versatile writing services ranging from interviews and opinion pieces to captivating copy for businesses and brands. Friendly, devoted and reliable, I craft carefully tailored words which clients can be confident in. Whether the story is personal or for a large brand, I can adapt my voice to suitably engage and inform readers. I am experienced in writing for magazines, blogs, websites, press releases, digital publications and books, having recently completed the manuscript for my debut non-fiction work. I have particular interest in writing about culture, womxn's issues, and human interest stories.
Qualified with a joint honours degree in English Literature & History from the University of Glasgow, as well as a Masters degree in Comics Studies from the University of Dundee, I have a real passion for language, research and creativity.

With more than six years' experience in comics editorial, I am committed to helping creators tap into the heart of their story. Collaborating closely every step of the way, I'm experienced in performing editorial assessments, editing scripts and artwork, reviewing pitches and seeing comic production through from conception to completion. Having worked on established, licensed brands and independent, creator-owned projects, I am available for all your editorial needs.
Currently based in Aberdeen, Scotland, I enjoy roller derby, horror films, and live/loud music when I'm not working on projects.
