I've been writing ever since I can remember. The moment I could hold a pen I was scribbling away little stories and novels in my shoddy handwriting (thank goodness for laptops!).
I always knew I wanted to make a career out of writing, I was just never quite sure how. I went to university to study professional and creative writing, but even then I was given very little guidance in how to actually find work in writing. I was regularly writing blogs and magazine articles, and getting paid to do it, but at that time I didn't realise that I could honestly make a career of it.
Years later I studied three courses in copywriting, SEO copywriting and getting paid to write. I also completed a short course in digital marketing. After completing these courses I realised that I COULD write professionally, and I'd been doing it (to a smaller degree) for the past ten years! Now with professional copywriting and content writing experience under my belt, I'm wanting to take my writing to the next level and dedicate myself entirely to writing.
My two greatest passions in life are writing and art. I'm a creative person through and through, and I know how to weave SEO content and links seamlessly into my content. I'm a keen researcher, and hard worker, and I genuinely believe that my dedication to improvement, and my creativity is what's gotten me where I am today. My life has taken some very odd twists and turns, and I've gone down some VERY strange career paths, but all of it has lead me to a career in writing and I couldn't be happier.
