I have a varied background ranging from being a copywriter and proofreader at a financial institution, to being a Student and Career Services Advisor, to teaching college level public speaking courses. Through all of my experiences one thing has remained constant and that is my love of words. Whether I was writing words to create pieces as a copywriter, checking the accuracy of words and texts as a proofreader, helping students find the right words to be successful in their college career, or encouraging others to stand in front of an audience and speak their words, I find a passion in words and communication. That passion was first ignited through studying to receive my Bachelor of Science in Communication and then the passion was continued when I furthered my educational journey by completing a Master of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in social media marketing. To me, there can be no greater uniter or divider in the world than the words we use.
