Middle School English Teacher Seeking Supplemental Writing Opportunities
My extensive background in writing studies and English Language Arts education combined with my creative abilities and interpersonal skills make me an superlative candidate for a position to help you or your company flourish.
As a former writing consultant at the university level, I have worked closely with aspiring writers from diverse backgrounds, all demonstrating various needs in the realms of personal, professional, and academic writing. I have developed and orchestrated workshops for many genres and styles of writing that are still implemented at the Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi Writing Center today.
I am extremely familiar with foundational writing concepts and work to implement them daily in my job as a middle school reading and writing teacher. My own writing skills have been recognized, as I was recently the recipient of two Haas Writing Awards.
In addition, I am affiliated with the National Writing Project and have attended the Coastal Bend Writing Project’s Summer Institute, integrating National Writing Project values and concepts in my professional and personal writing ventures.
