Experienced B2B Copywriter and Content Writer Interested in Personal Finance, Culture, and Relationships
I'm a skilled writer with a background in digital media and B2B copywriting, bringing three years’ experience in effective SEO strategies and content creation. I am proficient in social media, researching, and maintaining brand identity through voice and tone.
I work as a copywriter for Ecreativeworks, an industrial B2B web development and marketing company. Here, I develop, write, and optimize web content using SEO best practices. I perform extensive research for each project, including facilitating client interviews and copy calls to better understand the desired voice and tone. I also collaborate with other copywriters to create blog content and social media posts for the company website.
In addition to Ecreativeworks, I was also a writing intern for Study Breaks Magazine, an online publication based out of San Antonio, Texas. Every week, I wrote a new article with a minimum of one thousand words, and also participated in weekly video workshops with coworkers to edit and improve each other's abilities. For this publication, I was given the opportunity to have two articles featured as the cover for the print magazine, each earning a 2500 word, 6 page spread, and invited back to be a Senior Writing Intern.
I also have experience working with social media and digital marketing. I was the editorial and digital marketing intern for WITI (Women in Technology International) where I created a personalized marketing strategy for webinars and regional events, designed marketing materials for these events including Twitter and Facebook headers, worked as part of a team in the creation of a new multimedia magazine, created an email campaign to attract contributors for digital magazine, wrote and edited content for Hall-of-Fame biographies, and created social media content for Facebook and LinkedIn. I have also worked with clients to optimize content on their Youtube channel for search engines, including writing descriptions and incorporating keywords.
At my university, I worked as a writing center consultant for three years, meeting with diverse groups of students to discuss all aspects of the writing process and provide editing and revision suggestions. Through this job, I also worked as an embedded consultant, facilitating learning within the classroom.
Aside from writing, I am passionate about history, poetry, and empowering young people, particularly young women.
