Over the last nine years I have worked within the Kaiser Permanente Labor Management Partnership. In addition to that, I have more than 15 years in the healthcare industry and a little less that 10 years of strategic planning and process improvement experience.
My current and previous roles have required that I demonstrate inclusiveness and flexibility in my working style and communicate effectively with labor and management at all levels. As an advocate for the partnership, I have served in a national capacity where the main function of my role was to create an awareness around the future workforce and to help frontline employees and their leaders prepare for those changes. I have also served in a regional capacity where my main responsibility was to be accountable for the strategic planning of the NCAL field operations including (but not limited to) the development of our Unit Based Teams (UBTs) along the Path to Performance (team score card) with NCAL Office of Labor Management Partnership (OLMP) I also had a responsibility to oversee the work of the Union Partnership Representatives and working in collaboration with NCAL OLMP to oversee the work of the UBT Consultants (UBTC). This responsibility also included the education, training and facilitation of local site leaders both labor and management and working to develop those that do the work.
One of my greatest accomplishments in the last five years has been the creation of a leadership development program designed for frontline workers engaging in partnership work with their managers. The program offers more than five FranklinCovey trainings, allowing participants to obtain certifications that help in their personal development. I believe my love for working with leaders and their workers, my passion for education and ensuring that people have the tools they need to be successful will only help in my future work supporting businesses and indiviuals seeking a better way to be productive and have more success.
