Lauren Connelly

Lauren grew up near the Smoky Mountains of TN before moving to PA when she was a teenager. After earning a BA in Art from Shippensburg University, she got married and gave birth to two daughters. Longing for life in the South, the Connellys moved to Raleigh in 2007 and added another daughter to the family. Lauren’s loved every minute of life in the Triangle, and gradually became a locavore and lover of the area’s restaurant scene. Besides writing restaurant reviews, she’s been a freelance writer for almost a decade, covering topics like marriage, parenting, food, holistic living, and anything else that inspires her. Other interests include photography, editing, graphic design, gardening, quilting, sewing, hiking, and traveling.
