After graduating from California State University, Fullerton with a degree in Communications, I took a job in the Anaheim Police Department's Video Production Unit. It was here that my real education began. With only two people in the department, I wore many hats including videographer, editor, lighting assistant, audio mixer, writer, and producer. Not only did I have the unique experiences of riding in helicopters, interviewing prostitutes and con men, going on drug busts and ride alongs through gang territories, I was able to hone my video production skills and build a foundation of knowledge that I can now pass onto my clients.
Moving on from the police department, I went to work for Dimension Cable which soon became Cox Communications, the third largest cable company in the nation. At Cox I branched into corporate communications and began focusing my talents on writing and producing television programing. I produced shows and stories on a wide variety of subjects including senior lifestyles, local issues in San Diego County, the Republican National Convention and the Super Bowl when hosted in San Diego, the San Diego Padres, and the San Diego Chargers. However, my flagship show was a marketing program featuring all of Cox Communications' services and products. Working closely with the marketing department, I was responsible for helping Cox Communications market their message in the San Diego region.
All of this experience, along with a variety of freelance opportunities gives me the experience to help you market you message through a variety of communication tools including marketing videos, testimonial videos, copywriting, press releases, and e-mail campaigns.
