"A leader; is a person who does the right thing when nobody is looking".

Born In Cape Town, South Africa during apartheid, to a military father and gay mother. I grew up in Newcastle, England under the guidance of St.James Military Academy for boys. After graduating I ventured back to the Eastern Province of South Africa to a city called Port Elizabeth and attended then known University of Port Elizabeth (U.P.E) which would later become Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU).

Upon receiving my degree in Information Technology, I decided to leave South Africa and experience the world as I have done for so much in my earlier years; on my own.

I have worked in Dubai, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and Malaysia within the hospitality industry, particularly in restaurants and hotels. Since the pandemic, there has been very little work within the hotel industry and after months of anger and frustration, I have decided to write about my travels, experience, common best practices for traveling, budgeting and the inside guide to hotels and restaurants.
