Making complex material accessible to learners of all kinds has been a constant throughout my varied professional trajectory. My first employer, having found I was good at clarifying software documentation, sent freelance copy editing projects throughout my graduate school years. As a junior professor, I taught philosophy to undergraduate and graduate students and published research papers in journals. After my career leap into the wellness industry and the world of vocational schooling, I designed engaging new curriculum to communicate muscle anatomy effectively to visual and kinesthetic learners. I wrote school catalogs, handbooks, promotional materials, and wellness magazine articles. I currently write an email newsletter for my wellness clients and homilies for my faith community.
