Creatively Capturing Content

Telling stories has always fascinated me. My first career and degree in Musical Theatre brought me a love and understanding of script writing, the climax before intermission, and character development. My second degree in Speech and Theatre Education allows me to pass on my love of stories and theatre to a younger generation. My third degree, a Master's in Creative Writing, opens up the world of fiction and poetry. Through it all I've operated and maintained two pop culture fansites, the most recognizable being The Twilight Lexicon. At its peak it reached over 40,000 unique visitors a day and ranked in the top 3% of websites. I have written blog posts and reviews, hosted interviews, ran polls and trivia, and created original content. My work on the Lexicon led to being hired by Little Brown Books as a contributor on The Illustrated Guide to the Twilight Saga. I have also worked as an editor for several authors, such as Myra McEntire, on YA novels. Through my work with teens and with fandom, I have learned how to use Facebook and Twitter with over 77K followers on Twitter. My Instagram account reached 1K in about 3 weeks.
