Recent experience includes a 6-month role as Head of Marketing, Communications and Public Engagement at the NHS, leading on all internal and external activity. Managed cross channel activity, embracing content and material creation, media relations and advising the board and executive members on often challenging communication issues. As well as
tailoring communications to various audiences, also worked with system partners, such as councils, schools and
commissioned providers to deliver timely, clear and consistent messages. I have also led pioneering data-driven external
online and offline healthcare campaigns.

Head of Marketing and Communications role at the University of Suffolk, implementing a new digital strategy. Led on
student recruitment and retention activity as well as launching brand compliance campaign, responsible for
communicating new brand architecture across all departments and project management of undergraduate and
postgraduate publications.

Contracts in International Senior Management roles at the BBC, leading on International campaigns. Ran groundbreaking cross-platform campaigns out in Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe. Supported global rebranding of BBC
Global News and associated programming. I also spent a year out in the Middle East working across a portfolio of
events and creating and managing a new in-house marketing function.
12-month Corporate CMO role at Chelmsford City Council, leading on data-driven campaigns, content marketing, and communications activity to develop relationships and deliver messages to
employees, media, residents, schools, businesses and key stakeholders including MP’s. Led on major internal change
communications strategy, to embed a more entrepreneurial, commercial vision to address future funding gaps.
Channels incorporated content creation, intranet, email, events, town hall meetings, focus groups, and social media.
Strong people management skills. Managed teams 30+ across a range of disciplines including marketing, PR, corporate
communications, city centre management, corporate sales, and public engagement teams. Proficient at motivating
people of various social styles to create positive, high performing teams, even during periods of significant change.
Experience ranges from direct and dotted line responsibility for all marketing and communication employees for a
local government organisation to managing International multi-site teams for Ernst & Young. Skilled at managing
external agencies to motivate and collaborate for the best outcome.

Extensive online, offline campaign and brand management experience, ranging from leading on an international roll-out
of brand campaigns for BBC Global News to project management of thought leadership and key annual reports for
Ernst & Young and Accenture. Proficient leading on creative digital marketing campaigns, from creation through to
ongoing analysis.
Through 10+ year Interim Management career, I have developed a strong ability to take on roles at full speed, learn
quickly and self-manage effectively with a commercial, creative approach, focusing on results with plenty of passion
and enthusiasm with a focus on achieving excellence.

Also, proficient in devising and managing fixed and shifting budgets, leading teams, and stakeholder management.
I am available immediately, having taken a career break due to family commitments.
