I have a PhD in rhetoric and composition and a passion for exploring the intersections of life's contradictions. My favorite writing topics include politics, pop culture, parenting, health and fitness, and education, but I also like how writing can take us in unexpected directions and teach us about topics we would never have considered otherwise.
I have been an educator for more than ten years and have taught composition, literature, and study skills to thousands of students ranging from elementary school to graduate students.
