Mara is an experienced communications and marketing professional who worked in-house for several organizations based in New York City. She has overseen high-level brand strategy/development, produced photo/video projects, publicized major endeavors by institutions and individuals, and written copy for digital, print, and social media. She's written dozens of profiles for college alumni magazines on their most exceptional graduates, faculty members, donors, and students. Trained as a journalist, she is a skilled interviewer and enjoys writing on a variety of subjects, but has expertise in cultural reporting and an interest in reporting on the state of higher education.
