I am an educator turned writer with a mission to help people harness their strengths and build a life they are both proud of, and challenged by. I have almost a decade of experience using cognitive coaching to assist professionals in making evidence-based decisions. When chronic, debilitating illness infiltrated every part of my life I left a 13-year career and began a freelance writing career from a hospital bed. I combine my professional training, my years in public education, and experiences parenting five children to write about parenting, relationships, productivity, education, and health.
