My name is Marisol Aponte. I'm 30 years old, and I live in Colombia.

BA in English Language from the Technological University of Pereira; with knowledge of the communicative, theoretical and practical component of the current methodologies of teaching English at a general level, as well as the development of skills, values and attitudes that enable me to perform the profession of teacher, with academic, pedagogical, investigative and humanistic.

Master in Educational Technology and Digital Competencies of the International University of La Rioja, with knowledge of digital skills with a current and dynamic approach, following the Common Framework of Digital Teacher Competence, developed by the National Institute of Educational Technologies and Teacher Training (INTEF).

In 2015 I studied the Powerful Tools for Teaching and Learning program: Web 2.0 tools, in the University System of Huston and I also studied the Grammar for Teachers: Language Awareness program of Cambridge English Teachers.
After evaluation of my academic record, I was awarded a scholarship of excellence by the UNIR Foundation (International University of La Rioja - Spain) to study the Master's Degree in Educational Technology and Digital Competencies that was developed in Spring 2017. On April 9, 2018, I completed my Master’s Degree in Educational Technology and Digital Competencies from the International University of La Rioja. I made an educational innovation project as final work, which consisted of the creation of an Android application to improve communication between Parents and Institution, in issues of student note reports. With this application, parents can observe at any time both the strengths and difficulties and also the recommendations given by teachers to improve the academic performance of students.
I designed and implemented for the Gimnasio Norte del Valle School, a website where teachers and teaching directors can share their plans and other pedagogical practices to develop transversal projects. On this page, only the teachers of the institution can be registered. As a personal project, I am developing a website www.saberesdelpreescolar.com to share information related to the preschool world. It will be fed with planning, materials, teaching tips and news that will be very helpful for teachers.

El Circle Time al iniciar las clases

Una de las rutinas que me ha llamado mucho la atención y al que atribuyo muchos de los aprendizajes que adquieren los niños, es el «Circle Time». En muchos países utilizan esta rutina para hablar del clima, días de la semana, meses del año, estaciones, números, abecedario, y vocabulario clave según los temas que estén viendo en clase. Lo ideal es que se realice como primera actividad antes de iniciar las lecciones y en donde se reforzarán todos aquellos conocimientos que de una u otra forma hacen parte de la vida familiar y social de un niño. Su aprendizaje se hace natural y los niños se divierten mucho en esta parte del día en la escuela.
