25 years and 60,000 pages of clearly written legal content. Straightforward narratives, lucid analyses, and compelling conclusions.
During law school I served as a research assistant twice and was published in the U. Miami. Law Review. I began my professional career as a judicial clerk in a federal appeals court. From there I spent several years at the Manhattan headquarters of a firm recognized as the leader in its practice area. In-house counsel and corporate officer positions followed, and I have now ended my legal and business career after nearly a quarter century.
Throughout those years and in every position, writing was the lion's share of what I did and what I produced. During that time I learned facts can be vivid without being sensational and arguments can be comprehensive without being overcomplicated. I also learned writing can be sophisticated without being marked by formality. I always aim for writing that disappears into the information it relates, and my goal is to create understanding, not to display eloquence. That approach has served me well, and I'd love to put it to use in crafting written material for you.
Due to the privileged and confidential nature of my professional work product, including published documents written for clients, virtually none of it can be excerpted or cited here. I am glad to detail more about that work in private discussion or correspondence. And please ask me anything that would help you find the best fit for your project.
