Pain is a wonderful teacher, we just don't always know the lesson.
Born and raised in the mid-west I was introduced to many experiences that allowed me to find success in every aspect of my life. I traveled the world in the U.S. Army as an infantry soldier, worked the oilfields of Kansas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Texas. I worked on assembly lines, managed construction crews and restaurants. I destroyed my body working those jobs and decided to go to school where I attained a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice graduating Suma Cum Lauda from Washburn University in Topeka Kansas and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas. I am a disabled veteran, married for 30 years with a large growing family. I love the outdoors, riding motorcycles, flying kites, writing poetry and helping my neighbors. I enjoy public speaking on any topic having done so numerous times.
