Freelance creative

Hello! I'm Martha, a creative guru and a self-proclaimed bookworm. If there's one thing you should know about me, it is that my curiosity and passion are insurmountable. This could be due to the hefty number of books I read in a year or, more likely, my ambitious attitude to connect and positively impact those around me.

Let me tell you a little more about me: I graduated from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities with a degree in Professional Journalism. My education provided me with the ability to be pliable in the journalism industry. I learned how to write an array of formats. I can write anything from public relation notices, well-researched and enjoyable blog posts, as well as, cleverly worded tweets. In addition to writing concisely, I developed a unique tone and voice, which engages readers. My education properly equipped me and gave me the confidence to pursue it all. There is no challenge that I deem unachievable.

For several years, I have worked in the news industry as a social media manager, news reporter, photographer, and writer. At each of these positions, I cultivated a wide array of talents, which make me adaptable and unafraid of any roadblock.

Now, I currently work as a full-time adventurer for Quirky Globetrotter and part-time freelancer. I sought entrepreneurship because I wanted more of a challenge. I was driven to create my own brand and truly put my hard-earned talents to the test.

After reaping success, I discovered that I could share this information and positively impact those around me. It's been a whirlwind of a year, but I'm excited as ever to share my success with others and help them achieve their goals.

Fun factoid: My guilty pleasure is listicles, especially bucket lists. (I've nearly visited all 50 states — only six more to go!)
