Mary Rooney, Ph.D., is a licensed Board Certified clinical psychologist. Dr Rooney currently serves at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), the largest scientific organization in the world dedicated to research focused on the understanding, treatment, and prevention of mental disorders and the promotion of mental health. She is an established researcher and has published numerous academic articles in the field of psychology. She previously served as a clinical psychologist the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and at the ADHD and Disruptive Behavior Disorders Center at the Child Mind Institute (NY). She earned her doctorate from the University of Maryland, College Park.
