Highly effective at telling the stories that sell high technology.
Born in West Virginia, raised in California's Central Valley, I realized early on that my strengths lay in wordsmithing: crafting language to suit a purpose. Beginning in the newspaper business, which taught me the discipline of writing to length and writing on deadline, I moved on to book publishing in the computer science field, working on both college texts and computer trade titles for IDG Books. From book publishing I moved on to the web, acquiring content for the Microsoft Developer Network while writing a series of technical articles for MS Press. Following my tenure at MS, I went to work for Adobe, editing content for their website and, in recent years, writing a series of marketing papers aimed at the technical decision maker audience. These days I write and edit both technical and marketing copy for a variety of clients in the software and cloud platform business, including DocuSign, OneLogin, Coursera, and others.
