She is a 15 times- award winning multi-media journalist accredited by the Media council of Kenya with 11 years of experience in broadcast media. She is a generalist, however, she has great interest in Gender and Global health reporting.
Currently, she works as a continuity radio presenter at MediaMax-Milele FM as well as Gender& health reporter/Features producer/Voice over artist .She is also a co-founder at My Dream-The woman I want to be (podcast)
She contributes frequently for www.afyawatch.co.ke on mental health matters and www.africabusinessnews co.ke on gender stories.
She has worked in different media outlets which includes being a stringer for VOA, radio presenter at Transworld Radio Atoo in Kakuma as well as a continuity Radio presenter , news anchor ,Editor and producer of news features at Upendo Radio.
She has received awards and recognitions such as 2017,2018, 2019 & 2021 Annual Journalism Excellence Awards( AJEA)in different categories like ICT & Telecommunication, Environment, Health, Gender, and business reporting ,OFAB (Biotechnology)Kenya Media awards 2021-Print Category and Head of State Recognition(Trailblazers award) 2022
She has also won International media awards like Merck Foundation East Africa media awards 2020 &2021-Radio category, African Journalists Gender Equality awards 2021,Climate Action Media awards 2021 and Pan-Africa Reinsurance media awards 2021 & 2022.
