I am a former English teacher who used to diagram sentences with college freshman but now writes about postnatal bodies, motherhood, physical fitness, the chemistry of skincare, and the fallacies of homeopathy.

I have an MA in English literature from Boston University. This means I love grammar and the mechanics of essay writing. I also have a penchant for research and deep dives into a topic (This explains how an interest in hair care ingredients morphed into a lab in my laundry room).

I am diligent about deadlines, as well as a stickler for facts, and I look forward to working with you!
