I am a freelance writer based in New Orleans. I have worked as a crime and municipal government reporter for the daily newspaper, the Daytona Beach News-Journal; I served as associate editor for the business journal New Orleans CityBusiness; I was managing editor for the Gulf Coast regional construction trade journal the Daily Journal of Commerce. I also served as Custom Publishing Editor for New Orleans Publishing Group. I have freelanced for Bankrate.com; ISO&Agent Magazine, Time Inc., SPOON Publishing, and New Orleans Magazine, among others. I now teach journalism at Loyola University New Orleans where I am adviser of the the university newspaper, The Maroon.
