I was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. I graduated from the United State International University - Africa with a degree in International Business Administration. I then pursued a career in screenwriting and online freelance writing. I am also the founder of ROFFEKE - Rock 'n' Roll Film Festival, Kenya whose aim is to promote rock music in Kenya via the medium of film. I frequentry update the ROFFEKE blog. I was the only African poet to participate in the Pulitzer Remix and the Oulipost, both organized by the Found Poetry Review.
