Missy Kavanaugh-Carryer is a freelance writer based in Central Florida. A published writer of children's books, she also is a 2016 semi-finalist for a sitcom submission at Scriptapalooza, a former travel writing panelist at Freelance Success writers conference and a member of the Education Writers Association. When she is not angling to accompany her husband on business trips to interesting places, she enjoys community volunteer projects and reading books by invigorating writers (David Sedaris is a favorite) to avoid compulsively watching cable news. She is currently conducting market research for a niche travel blog she plans to launch later this year.
