I started my adult working career as a research analyst for a large stockbroking firm in Johannesburg, South Africa. During the course of this 6-year career, I published several thousand daily research reports and a widely respected monthly investment newsletter. My research reports and newsletters were often referenced and used as the basis for financial articles and reporting in some of the most well respected financial newspapers and magazines in South Africa.
An entrepreneur at heart, I left the investment industry to start my own business. Since 2012, I have been a digital marketing freelancer. As a digital marketing freelancer, I have:
• Built over 100 bespoke websites for clients (using the WordPress Content Management System)
• Written SEO optimized content for landing pages and blog articles for all of these bespoke websites
• Conducted A/B split testing and conversion optimization on website landing pages
• Run multiple email marketing campaigns for web design clients
• Used paid advertising using mainly Google and Facebook to drive traffic to client websites and generate leads
• Created and edited multiple online marketing videos using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere
