My name is Mitchell Mattingly and I am currently a senior majoring in Finance and Business Analytics in the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. I am a well-rounded individual with passions in numerous areas that I enjoy sharing with others. These areas include:
Finance: I have a unique ability to explain complex financial and economic trends/events in a style that results in comprehension, interest, and entertainment. I have experience working in Leveraged Finance/Debt Capital Markets and will begin my professional career in June for an investment bank in Chicago specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions. My experience, passion, and deep knowledge of the financial landscape is what allows me to compose pieces that truly interest readers.
Books: Intellectual stimulation is something I cannot go a day without through reading. Business, self-help, and finance are my main areas of interest in non-fiction books. I have read over 250 books within the past 2 years and have actively taken notes with connections to other self-help practices and books. Comprehensive reviews of classics, new releases, and niche categories is something I believe I have the ability to excel at and provide valuable insights to readers.
Fitness: Since the physical therapy following my reconstructive knee surgery in 5th grade, I have been a fitness enthusiast. Powerlifting, bodybuilding, swimming, and distance running are activities I have tackled head on throughout my experiences.
I am as ambitious as they come and will put extreme effort in producing quality pieces for your readers.
