Dancer, Choreographer, Freelancer. One person with a lot to say
Originally from Dallas, Texas, Morgan Brown started her dance training at Dallas Black Dance Academy. Brown is a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts; and has obtained her BFA in Dance with a minor in Sociology from Sam Houston State University. It was there where she became a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She has completed her first season with Impulse Dance Project; and Ms. Brown has performed in festivals such as 254 in Waco, Texas as well as various venues including: the Kennedy Center, Winspear Opera House, and the Moody Performance Hall in previous years. She has also performed pieces by choreographers such as Sidra Bell, Brian Enos, Robert Battle, and Zach Ingrim to name a few. In her spare time she enjoys visiting new restaurants and coffee shops especially hidden gems. Ms. Brown has begun to take an interest in photography as well as coming back to an old past time of hers: writing.
