When writing for others, I highlight those hidden gems of meaning that take an idea from almost there to absolutely realized. And when copyediting or finalizing a variety of writing, I’m morally impartial to the serial comma. Instead, I work within the predetermined stylistic expectations and that of the writing itself, which demands an ability to understand the author’s or company's intentions and help translate their visions into words.
I hold a Master of Fine Arts in writing, two Bachelor of Arts degrees in literature, and I’ve taught and tutored reading, writing, and English as a subject and language to students from all over the world. I also possess an exquisite ability to draw from and connect an expansive range of topics, since I travel frequently and move when necessary (most recently from California to Montreal); although, as J. R. R. Tolkien reminds us, “Not all those who wander are lost.”
