Nadine Browne

A recent Starworks Fellow (2019) of New York University’s prestigious graduate writing program, I have been writing for various print and online media for over ten years, both in Australia and the United States. I have three years of experience as an editor, assisting with fact-checking, proofreading, copy editing, and image placement. I have also worked as an adjunct professor of creative writing, helping undergraduate students learn narrative techniques, literature analysis, and the general craft of writing.

My non-fiction pursuits included a keen interest and knowledge in economic markets, including renewable energy, healthcare, and biotechnology industries. I have further expertise in social welfare and activism, including child and youth advocacy and foster caring, economic/policy reform, and community-led change.

I can articulate complex concepts through succinct, accessible content without losing nuances. I have proven ability, over a wide range of subjects, in synthesizing research from various sources to develop convincing narratives. Whether it’s editing, proofreading, teaching, or creating my own written work, nothing brings me more joy than making the written word better.
