OVERVIEW.
I'm a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

I've been published in more than 25 U.S. and Canadian magazines, newspapers and websites. I've been writing professionally for over 30 years.

CONSUMER. I write to help readers understand consumer issues, especially money-related ones, how it affects them and what they should do. A few examples: How credit scores affect auto insurance rates; telltale signs of elderly financial abuse; insurance reforms; and a law that helps military service members avoid financial ripoffs.
BUSINESS. I write business articles and profiles for trade publications. I'm adept at digging out the details from my sources and explaining the benefits to readers and how it will affect their operation.
HEALTH AND RELIGION. I write articles and reviews about health, religion, and spirituality.

MARKETING AND CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS. I've authored and edited white papers, annual reports, newsletter articles, articles for executives, advertising and brochure copy, press releases, and customized Web articles.
EDITORIAL WORK. I have many years of experience copy editing and proofreading a variety of publications as well as instructional materials and dissertations.
