Norman Hall was a management accountant for 40 years and was finance director of several companies, many of them in the hospitality sector. He always had a keen interest in home movies (he edited his first film in 1971) but only became seriously committed in 2009, producing a dozen or so travelogues charting his travels around the world.
In 2016 he decided to make his own feature film and in April 2018, "Good Girl" premiered to cast, family and friends. Nicky, his wife of 35 years urged him to write the companion novel which he self-published in February 2019, closely followed by the sequel entitled "The Awakening" in July of the same year.
In between writing novels he edits films for aspiring filmmakers. His third novel "The Angel of Solano" will be self-published in June 2020.
