Hi! I wear several hats, usually all at once! I hold a Master's degree in Environment and Sustainability, and a BA in Socio-Cultural Anthropology. I am a certified Hypnobirthing Educator. I am also an apprenticed chef and catering coordinator. I co-owned an urban agriculture design enterprise, which bloomed from my 20,000 hours of gardening, cooking, seed saving, teaching and consulting. I am a parent. I have run for political office. I was in Army Cadets as a youth. And I grew up in Newfoundland, Canada. I write children's books. I write songs and poetry. I make things. And I love to collaborate. According to the Myers-Briggs personality test, I am an ENTP-J. I can jump into research. And I see connections and historical/cultural context. Sustainability informs much of what I know is necessary work.
