I am a business storyteller. Sometimes, that's as a ghostwriter for a CEO, a business blogger, and a creator of various kinds of content (e-books, whitepapers, website copy).
In more detail, I am a writer, editor, blogger, journalist, marketer, ghostwriter, and author (that was a mouthful!) with more than 26 years of experience in the digital marketing space. My job is to create content that helps brands connect with their customers. Words are my medium; the internet is my canvas. I take your story and turn it into prose.
I specialize in:
- Updating & optimizing older content to give it new life and vitality; - SEO content writing for informational search intent; - Working with smaller agencies that need an experienced b2b content provider; - Ghostwriting for CEOs and business leaders; - Using ChatGPT and other generative writing and editing tools.
My background (in case you're wondering):
- Self-employed a number of times doing all of the above; - Digital marketing manager; - Business blogger; - Ghostwriter; - Staff writer for a small business digital magazine; - Web publication managing editor; - Features writer; - Adjunct instructor; - Social media marketer.
I love B2B, especially creating content for SaaS, tech, healthcare, and other industries and verticals.
I hold the distinction of leading the very first business blogging seminar to be held in Asia, and, in 2011, introduced social media marketing to business owners in Ukraine at the behest of the U.S. Department of Commerce.
I have authored or co-authored four books on business blogging, social media marketing, and social commerce, the most notable of which is entitled "The Digital Handshake: Seven Proven Strategies to Grow Your Business Using Social Media," published by John Wiley and Sons, in 2009.
I used to say that everything I know about internet marketing, I learned from "For Dummies" books, and that is partially true. Since 2005, I have served as technical editor of many of the Internet marketing-related For Dummies books, including Buzz Marketing with Blogs For Dummies, the first book ever published to address the topic of business blogging exclusively.
