I am Pawena Kaniah and I am from a small young volcanic island in the middle of the Indian Ocean called Mauritius, part of the Arican continent.
I recently turned 21 years old and perhaps because I am a young opinionated woman, I have been blogging for the past 5 years.
I love traveling, giving presentations and thoroughly enjoy the liberal arts and social sciences. I have been a past Chemistry and Physics major student in High School. I am however now pursuing Marketing and Psychology.
I have visited Jaipur, Agra, Vrindavan, New Delhi, Shimla, Manali, Mathura, and Mumbai in India, Krabi, Phuket, Phi Phi Don Islands and Maya Bay in Thailand, Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru in Malaysia, Reunion Island, Rodrigues Island, and the Seychelles. I am looking forward to visiting Siem Reap and Phnom Pehn in Cambodia and Halong Bay and Hanoi in Vietnam soon as well as Yogyakarta in Jakarta. For the purpose of my further studies, I am currently in Singapore and will be moving to Dubai and Sydney soon.
In my free time, I sit down and pen my thoughts. I am a big-time social critic and a self-proclaimed modern times philosopher. I paint. I hike. This is the space where you will always find me.
