Solid communications strategy that impacts your bottom line

Penny is a proven communications leader who began her career as a writer and journalist. She transitioned to the corporate world, working as a public affairs consultant for AT&T for more than 10 years. There, she provided strategic guidance for numerous integrated marketing and public affairs campaigns, providing communications strategy and messaging for the external affairs organization.

After her success at AT&T, Penny managed communications and public policy for local political campaigns. She was hired by an Oklahoma County District 2 commissioner to build his social media and web structure. In addition, she managed media and legislative relations for the district.

Penny managed internal and external communications for Oklahoma Gas and Electric’s Smart Grid program. She helped launch the company’s social media efforts and developed Smart Grid customer outreach programs.

She currently owns and operates PResence Communications and consults with statewide and national political campaigns, fortune 500 companies, and nonprofits. Penny is committed to growing and developing her community. She is a people connector, an event pro and team player.
