My education and work experience have always focused on writing and editing. My journalism degree from the University of Oregon provided me with a solid foundation. I worked for 15+ years in a variety of editorial positions at a range of companies, including:
* a two-person marketing firm * a small healthcare association * a medium-sized consulting company * a large home healthcare company.
Now, as a micro business owner, I know how challenging it is to get everything done. You need collaborators you can depend on and trust.

Unlike other writers, I don’t specialize in a particular niche. I write about a wide variety of topics. I can do this because I’m skilled at researching a topic, assimilating the information, and turning it into an original piece.
I'm also a top-notch editor who has edited all types of documents, including articles, book chapters, and employee manuals. My current editing clients include the director of a healthcare program and a writing coach. (I help edit articles that are being prepared for publication in Forbes and Harvard Business Review.) Unfortunately, due to non-disclosure agreements with both clients, I'm unable to share examples of my editing. However, I'm always willing to edit a short sample to show you how I can add value as an editor.
