After a distinguished teaching career I set up an educational consultancy Greater Expectations that provided a range of training to employers and trade unions.
During my career I have provided analysis on policy and budget to a wide range of business. I have ran a number of businesses including a driving school and a supplement company. I have also written courses and presented on dyslexia and educational matters. I am a published author of several self help books on parenting and educational advice.
I have considerable experience coaching employers on legal matters regarding equality and discrimination. I have been a keynote speaker at the Irish Congress of Trade Unions.
I am an avid West Ham fan and founder of Belfast Hammers Supporters Club. I blog regularly for Hammerschat Youtube Channel. I come from a keen swimming family with my children being Irish and Ulster champions. I enjoy reading, travel and theatre.
