I have lived a normal, quiet life. I have raised children (including one with special needs), worked various jobs to support my family, went to college, and enjoyed every minute of it. I turn 50 this year. I now want to invest in my passion - writing. I always remember writing in some form or another. In kindergarten, I would sit down to the kitchen table, dictionary in hand and practice writing. Poetry and short stories became my outlet as a teenager. It was my way of handling life, of finding a place to belong in a scary world. I grew up and followed traditional female paths - marriage, work, family. Today, I begin rediscovery of myself, of my first love - writing.
