Rebecca Riddle is a writer, server, and hospitality enthusiast who has been working various FOH positions for the past six years. She recently completed her Master’s degree at Teachers College, Columbia University where she studied international educational development with a focus on language, literacy, and culture. Rebecca is now on a mission to combine her love of words and writing with her passion for the restaurant industry.
Her area of expertise lies in hospitality industry workplace issues, particularly those that impact front of house employees. Rebecca also dabbles in creative writing, most of which revolves around everyday life in New York City.
When Rebecca isn’t writing or working as a server, you can find her reading, solving crossword puzzles, or searching for the best dumplings in the city. Since she is originally from a small town in Georgia, she will always love warm weather, southern hospitality, and the word y’all.
