I am a published author and I write extensively about the city of London - its history, culture, people, transport and events. I am a qualified London taxi driver and tour guide and I've successfully blogged about the city for a number of years. In 2015 Time Out named me as their Expert Blogger of the Year.
My areas of expertise include London specific travel destinations, culture and experiences; London and UK wide history, including transport history; trains and train stations; and true crime.
I am a published non-fiction writer. My book, The Knowledge: Train Your Brain Like a Cabbie, was published by Quercus in 2018. It features a blend of history, trivia and brain training techniques which were inspired by my own experiences when I trained to be a London taxi driver. I have also recently completed a book on the history of London's Waterloo Train Station, due to be published in 2021 by The Crowood Press.
I create great, professional content that will engage your audience and I look forward to working on your project.
