I am a mother of an amazing almost two year old! Man, does he keep me on my toes. Being a mom is the best job in the world. I never could have imagined what this would be like. It is like running a marathon while receiving a million sloppy kisses and being told no constantly. He is amazing though, and is growing and changing everyday! Being a mom is my best accomplishment but being a wife comes in close second. I have the best husband in the world and no one will convince me other wise. I love the man I married more than I like breathing. We have been married for 10 months and I could not be happier. He puts the meaning in my fairy tale life. I work as a registered nurse and love my job. When asked how I like my job, the answer is always the same; It was the best decision of my life, obviously second to saying yes to my husband and giving birth. My job makes me feel like I make a difference in this world. It allows me to give back to others and turn the worst time in other’s lives into a little bit of sunshine. I am spunky, loud, and do my best to create good in others. I love to make others smile. I think that laughter is the key to life. A little laughter can turn a storm into a rainbow; if you don’t believe just listen to my son giggle. I am currently enrolled in my LAST college degree. In 5 years, 2 semesters, one week, three days, and 14 hours I will be a Family/Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am so excited, but it is going to be a long, long, five years. I just have to make it to that moment.
